Job Summary
This Manufacturing Associate (limited term; ends September 2027) executes tasks per CGMP guidelines and SOPs to manufacture, inspect, and package Anthrax Vaccine Adsorbed. Completes required training and maintains competence per the manufacturing training program.
Responsibilities
- Complete training and demonstrate competency on qualification blocks.
- Execute and document procedural steps per CGMP, clean room behavior, and SOPs.
- Comply with applicable manufacturing regulations and company requirements.
- Maintain facility environmental control (cleaning solution prep; scheduled cleaning of manufacturing areas).
- Review documentation for accuracy/completeness in real time during shifts (BPRs/forms/logs).
- Stock gowning and consumables; maintain Kanban inventory control.
- Follow standard work and participate in continuous improvement, Kanban, and 6S.
- Perform inspection/packaging activities: identify/cull defects, operate labeling equipment, apply traceability/expiration, perform 100% inspection/reconciliation, complete ambient tracking.
- Use SAP modules for material issuance/confirmation.
- Perform Building 55 operations (prep/upstream/downstream): media preparation/hydration, parts washer sterilization/decon, assemble glassware, COP/CIP & SOP/SIP via DeltaV, fermenter cleaning/sterilization, inoculation, turbidity monitoring, pH adjustment, filtration integrity/testing, ALOH additions, sampling via LIMS, tank/centrifuge cleaning/sterilization, dispense/sterilize ALOH.
Qualifications (Minimum)
- HS Diploma
- 1β2 yearsβ experience in a CGMP environment
- Knowledge of CGMP/CFR preferred (not required)
- Personal competencies: self-awareness, integrity, team player, creative, culturally aware
Compensation/Benefits
- Estimated annual base salary: $39,000β$47,100 (new hire range)
