Role: Manufacturing Associate supporting high-throughput molecular biology workflows in a biotech manufacturing setting. Objectives: produce custom gene products and intermediates per SOPs to meet production timelines and quality standards. Responsibilities: operate automated and traditional lab equipment (PCR, DNA quantitation, sequencing), manufacture bespoke gene libraries, support testing of new molecular approaches, document processes accurately, troubleshoot deviations, and package final products. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field; relevant lab or manufacturing experience preferred; strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Jira/Confluence). High-Value: biotech manufacturing, gene synthesis, GMP/ISO environment, molecular biology techniques, high-throughput automated workflows, flexible shifts. WorkSetup: team-based in San Francisco; ability to work safely with chemicals and lift up to 20 lbs; flexible hours required.
