Role: Manufacturing Associate II supporting high-throughput production of DNA, mRNA, and LNP materials for Moderna's research portfolio. Responsibilities: execute manual and automated workflows, operate laboratory systems, document work accurately, monitor and troubleshoot production processes, and contribute to operational improvements. Collaborate cross-functionally with Research Analytics, Quality Control, Engineering, and Automation teams to ensure timely material generation and maintain laboratory readiness. Requirements: Associate's (4+ years) or Bachelor's (2+ years) in Biological, Chemical, or related sciences; hands-on experience with lab workflows, laboratory instrumentation, and automated systems; proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and ensure data integrity. Preferred: experience with high-throughput automation, Hamilton liquid handlers, molecular workflows (e.g., DNA assembly, RNA purification, LNP formulation), digital systems (LIMS, MES), and process optimization initiatives. High-Value: biopharma research setting, DNA/mRNA/LNP manufacturing, regulated environment, on-site in Cambridge, MA, with occasional schedule flexibility. Work setup: on-site, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with potential overtime.
