Manufacturing Associate II

Role: Manufacturing Associate II in Downstream (DP) Operations at Moderna, supporting cGMP production of biologics through routine unit operations like formulation, sterile filtration, aseptic filling, and visual inspection. Responsibilities include preparing materials, executing in-process controls, equipment checks, documentation (including MES/eBR), deviation management, SOP adherence, and cross-functional collaboration with QA, QC, and other teams. Emphasis on operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelors in a scientific field or equivalent experience, 2-4 years GMP manufacturing preferred (training available for entry-level). Skills include working in cleanrooms, gowning, visual acuity, and basic computer literacy. Work involves standing for extended periods and lifting up to 35 lbs. Shift: 12-hour night shift with flexibility for weekends and overtime. Focus areas include biologics (likely mRNA-based), with experience in aseptic processing, documentation accuracy, and GMP compliance essential.
