Manufacturing Associate I, Wet Lab Operations

Manufacturing Associate II (Wet Lab) — DNA synthesis formulation/testing.

How you will make an impact:
- Manage raw materials and lab supplies
- Perform timely reanalysis of products and raw materials
- Lead the department when the Lab Manager is not present; coordinate with outside departments
- Prepare catalog products using manufacturing instructions, procedures, and protocols
- Package, label, store products; maintain inventory of catalog products and raw materials
- Conduct preventative maintenance
- Prepare equipment and glassware; maintain supply organization
- Assist with shipping/receiving of hazmat products and materials
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of organic solvents, hazardous chemicals, and waste
- Complete required documentation and maintain task accountability
- Maintain an organized work environment
- Perform general lab duties and other assigned work
- Support customer order fulfillment (prepare shipping documentation); receive/process incoming vendor/supplier materials

The skills and experience that you will bring:
- BS in Chemistry or related science
- 2 years of previous laboratory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Safe handling knowledge/experience with organic solvents and lab chemicals
- Ability to follow direction and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with wet-bench chemistry, HPLC, spectrophotometers, and general chemistry techniques
- Experience with databases, ERP, and document control systems
