The Position
Manager, Travel & Expense will lead and scale travel and expense operations as the company expands its commercial organization. Oversee corporate travel programs, expense policy compliance, corporate card management, and HCP-related travel support.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage company-wide travel program and policy; administer Concur Travel & Expense.
- Oversee U.S. Bank corporate card program; run RFPs for new banks and implement decisions.
- Maintain/optimize preferred vendor relationships (air, hotels, Enterprise rental); negotiate and execute contracts.
- Monitor travel spend trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives; ensure negotiated contracts are leveraged effectively.
- Ensure timely, compliant expense submission/approval; own T&E and corporate card policies and T&E SharePoint.
- Monitor adherence to T&E policy; partner with Compliance on HCP spend transparency.
- Identify policy gaps and recommend updates; lead internal audits and reporting related to T&E.
- Coordinate/oversee HCP travel logistics; support national/regional sales meetings (room blocks and group travel coordination).
- Ensure Sunshine Act and transparency reporting alignment where applicable.
- Optimize Concur workflows via continuous improvement and automation; develop KPI dashboards; improve employee experience while maintaining controls.
- Build scalable processes to support growth from 50 to 250+ sales reps; evaluate staffing needs; reduce manual work/external coordination.

Requirements
- 5+ years’ travel & expense management experience (biotech/pharma/regulatory preferred).
- Experience supporting commercial field organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Concur Travel & Expense.
- Experience managing corporate card programs.
- Familiarity with HCP compliance requirements and transparency reporting.
- Experience negotiating/managing vendor contracts.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, attention to detail, and operational discipline.
- Ability to operate cross-functionally with Sales, Compliance, and Finance.

Preferred
- Strong financial controls and compliance; service-minded but firm on policy.
- Data-driven/improvement-focused; comfortable supporting field sales; scales systems without unnecessary complexity.

Onsite
- Onsite role; expected in the office five days a week.

Compensation/Benefits
- Wisconsin pay range: $95,000–$115,000 USD; California pay range: $110,000–$130,000 USD. Competitive salaries and an excellent benefit package.
