Manager of Trade & Market Access
Responsibilities:
- Oversee wholesaler and specialty pharmacy activities (sales, marketing, reimbursement, product handling, inventory) and resolve issues.
- Manage distribution contracts (renewals, payment terms, collections, return goods) per policy.
- Coordinate with Regulatory, Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and 3PL to address distribution/supply chain issues.
- Monitor wholesaler performance, contract compliance, inventory/order patterns, and trade reporting.
- Support pricing updates, chargeback reconciliation, and trade data accuracy.
- Support Market Access & Patient Support Services (PSS): execute/continuously improve programs, optimize access/reimbursement, track KPIs and report impact, maintain SOPs/documentation, and prepare QBR materials.
- Act as SME for hub and specialty pharmacy partners; develop analytics to support decisions.
- Serve as primary day-to-day contact for Market Access/PSS vendors; support scorecards/performance reviews; identify workflow improvements.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (accredited institution).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Trade & Distribution in biotech/pharma.
Skills/Requirements:
- Knowledge of distribution networks; pharmacy operations and healthcare reimbursement (billing, compliance, coding, medical terminology).
- Familiarity with AOP process, financials, POs, and budgets; healthcare datasets (e.g., 867, 852) and government pricing regulations.
- Strong project management, issue resolution, communication/presentation, analytical thinking; ability to synthesize and work cross-functionally.
- Ability to travel ~20%.
