Role Summary

Johnson & Johnson Technology (JJT) is seeking a Manager Technology Product Management to join our Data & Insights Product Group, supporting the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Commercial businesses. This role will partner with various product groups and business teams to plan, and deliver all aspects of Data & Insights products and platforms, with a focus on patient data and insights products. Location: Titusville, New Jersey, United States.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Partner with Business & Tech leaders to shape patient data & insights vision and strategy, aligning product goals with the company’s mission and patient needs. Drive innovation and prioritize features that enhance patient services.
  • Product Development and Management: Manage the patient data & insights product lifecycle from ideation to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Lead patient data products, patient master data, and analytics platforms, ensuring alignment with business strategy and goals. Drive innovation and prioritize features that enhance patient services.
  • Team Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for patient product-related inquiries. Work closely with partners to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of implementation goals and timelines. Ideate and address technical solution bottlenecks effectively.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Apply data analytics to advise product decisions and measure success. Implement feedback loops to continuously gather user insights and iterate on product features.
  • Technology and Innovation: Leverage the MDM Products (Informatica or Reltio), AWS technology stack to build scalable, secure solutions for managing and analyzing patient data. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the product line.
  • People Management: Manage onsite and offshore development team members, ensuring effective and timely delivery of solutions. Collaborate with vendor partners to improve patient care. Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure products meet security, privacy, and compliance standards, including HIPAA, CCPA, and GDPR. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory concerns.

Qualifications

  • Required: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, data management, master data management and analytics, preferably in healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Required: Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS stack (Redshift, S3, EC2, EKS), SQL, Python/PySpark and one of leading MDM tools (Reltio or Informatica). Expertise in data lifecycle management and data management capabilities. Hands-on experience in visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Required: Data & Business Domain: Good understanding of patient data, patient services and programs (e.g., copay, companion, reimbursement programs, SP, SP enhanced services), commercial pharma sales, marketing, and syndicated data sources, including patient 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party datasets.
  • Required: Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated concepts to technical and non-technical partners.
  • Required: Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.
  • Required: Customer Focus: Good understanding of patient services and the ability to empathize with user needs. Experience in gathering and interpreting customer feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Preferred: Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in roles involving patient data and insights.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA).
  • Preferred: Certification in technical area (AWS, Reltio MDM or Informatica MDM) and/or functional area in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent.
  • Certifications: AWS, Reltio MDM or Informatica MDM, and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner (preferred).
