Role Summary

Manager in Pfizerโ€šร„รดs Strategy & Consulting (S&C) team supporting development of holistic business strategies across Corporate, Commercial and Research & Development (R&D). Works across four verticals within S&C: US Commercial, Global Commercial Platforms, International, and Corporate and R&D. Engage with senior leaders across Pfizerโ€šร„รดs business units and report to a Director Team Lead or Senior Director to accelerate growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Initiative Leadership: Support key strategic projects, ensuring alignment with long-term goals and timely delivery
  • Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends, diagnose internal processes, and evaluate potential risks to inform enterprise decisions
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams to develop and communicate strategic recommendations and drive alignment
  • Teaming and Mentoring: Maintain a collaborative spirit, build personal awareness and model a continuous growth mindset

Qualifications

  • Minimum BS/BA with 4 years of relevant experience or MBA/MS/MA with 3 years of relevant healthcare experience
  • Relevant healthcare experience includes strategy development and/or strategic initiatives in commercial, corporate or R&D biopharma functions
  • Strong problem solving skills; ability to formulate hypotheses, ask the right questions, assess scenarios, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated project leadership potential and ability to deliver on workstreams with cross-functional colleagues
  • Ability to influence project stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; ability to work with junior team members
  • Understanding of trends and market dynamics in US and Global healthcare/biopharmaceuticals; awareness of competitor strategies; basic understanding of drug development and commercialization
  • Effective presentation skills to senior stakeholders; ability to lead with key messages and adapt communication style
  • High learning agility, team-oriented mindset, and poise under pressure
  • Basic understanding of finance and P&L implications of strategy
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written

Nice-to-have

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
