Manager Software Test Automation

Role: Manager, Software Test Automation leading Veracyte's Quality Engineering Platform team to enhance software quality and developer productivity through automation, AI integration, and platform engineering. Responsibilities: define and execute quality engineering strategy, build scalable automation frameworks, develop AI-assisted testing capabilities, and partner with software engineering and DevOps teams for continuous validation and quality ownership. Lead and grow a high-performing team of SDETs and platform engineers, fostering an innovative engineering culture. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related; 6-7 years in software or quality engineering; 3+ years leading quality-focused engineering teams. Expertise in cloud-native applications, automated testing, CI/CD integration, AWS, and distributed systems required. Preferred: healthcare or regulated environment experience, AI testing, and familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or REST Assured, plus certifications like AWS or testing-specific credentials.
