Role Summary

The Manager, Social Media is a creative and thoughtful communications professional who will focus on elevating and amplifying Arcellx’s corporate and executive thought leadership story mining through social media channels. This role develops editorial strategies, curates content, maintains a content calendar, and oversees reviews, scheduling, distribution, and performance measurements across external platforms and channels, including graphics, videos, infographics, and long-form articles. It also manages all external digital platforms, ensuring they are up to date with the latest company developments, research updates, clinical trials, investor relations content, and other corporate information. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to create fresh, engaging content representing the company’s innovations and achievements is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop editorial strategies and curate content across external platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Glassdoor) with a focus on corporate and executive thought leadership.
  • Maintain content calendar, manage reviews, scheduling, distribution, and performance measurements for graphics, videos, infographics, and long-form articles.
  • Ensure platforms are up to date with company developments, research updates, clinical trials, investor relations content, and other corporate information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create fresh, engaging content representing the company‚Äôs innovations and achievements.
  • Craft thoughtful communications that engage audiences and create a unique point of view on topics relevant to the executive team, company, and team members.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's degree and at least 3+ years of related experience in journalism, digital media, public relations, in-house, or at an agency. Experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
  • Required: Knowledge of and experience with multiple online channels (YouTube, LinkedIn, X, mobile devices), with a track record of growing and engaging online audiences.
  • Required: Strong attention to detail, project management, copy editing, and a solid understanding of multimedia and visual storytelling.
  • Required: Ability to take feedback and quickly adapt content in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: The ability to translate complicated scientific concepts into engaging content.
