The Position
- Lead, coach, and mentor shift process teams to execute production plans to meet quality, customer, and business objectives.
Essential Functions
- Create a safe, productive, engaging workplace
- Promote adherence to all quality objectives, specifications, and requirements
- Coach and mentor work cell leaders, specialists, process team members, and technical specialists (as applicable)
- Provide direction, prioritization, and motivation for shift team members
- Manage people for all shift team members (personnel issues, employment decisions, vacation planning, etc.)
- Perform process confirmation of standards to ensure compliance
- Collaborate across shift teams to share, standardize, and continuously improve
Development Of People
- Ensure direct reports have IDPs with annual goals/measurements and interim reviews
- Manage communication and application of company policies/procedures and Novo Nordisk Way
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree + 3+ years manufacturing experience (preferably pharmaceutical); or Associateโs + 2 additional years; or HS/GED + 4 additional years
- 3+ years direct supervisory experience (or internal completion of NN leadership talent program GROW)
- 2 years Aseptic Processing experience (preferred for Aseptic Production)
- Ability to read/write/understand complicated product documentation and SOPs (preferred)
- Computer expertise: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, PLCs; PAS-X a plus
- Process improvement/Lean or Six Sigma (preferred)
- Systematic problem-solving and decision-making (required)
