Corporate Functions
Position Summary:
- Prepare the Company’s periodic SEC filings and assist with technical accounting for material complex transactions.
- Report the Company’s Non-GAAP measures.

Responsibilities:
- Implement new processes for emerging accounting needs from novel transactions or regulatory changes.
- Prepare/support analyses needed for prescribed accounting treatment; maintain the accounting policy manual and update it for ASUs/new requirements.
- Prepare 10-Q, 10-K, and other external financial reports in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations (and maintain filing support).
- Research, opine, and draft memoranda for technical accounting treatment.
- Monitor accounting standards updates and implement required compliance processes.
- Assess SEC/other regulator requirements and present findings/recommendations to executive leadership.
- Support internal controls under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
- Serve as primary liaison to auditors on SEC reporting and technical accounting.
- Design/implement new accounting processes as business needs change.
- Devise and implement automated solutions to improve/manual workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on ad hoc projects.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (required); Master’s/MBA preferred.
- CPA required.
- 5–7 years progressive accounting experience; at least 3 years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or corporate SEC reporting.
- Strong U.S. GAAP/SEC technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience preparing/reviewing 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings.
- Preferred: Workiva, Oracle, SAP, or similar; strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Compensation/Work Setting:
- Hybrid; two days in Marietta office. $125,000–$155,000 + bonus.
