Manager - Sample Management Operations

Role: Lead operational management of biorepository specimen lifecycle within a laboratory/research setting, ensuring integrity, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities: oversee receipt, storage, retrieval, de-identification, distribution, and chain of custody of biological specimens; lead and develop the Sample Management team; optimize workflows and laboratory information systems; ensure regulatory compliance with CLIA, CAP, FDA, HIPAA, GCP; drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across cross-functional partnerships. Requirements: Bachelor's in Biological Sciences, Healthcare, or related; 5+ years in lab, pathology, or biorepository environments; 2+ years of leadership experience; expertise in specimen lifecycle, LIMS systems, and regulatory standards; excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills; on-site work capability. Preferred: Master's degree; experience with workflow/process improvement methodologies, LIMS implementation, project management certification, and clinical research support.
