Syndax Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Manager, Sales Operations

The Role
The Manager, Sales Operations role will be a close partner to our sales team and ensure they have the tools, insights, and support they need to succeed. The role will act as a bridge between people, processes, and technology, specifically via our CRM system and business analytics visualization tools (Veeva and Power BI), to translate sales team needs into effective opportunities and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for the sales team on CRM related questions, reporting tools, and data analytics
- Serve as the primary administrator and business owner of the Veeva CRM platform
- Design, configure, and maintain CRM workflows, reports, and dashboards to align with sales team needs
- Conduct training and onboarding sessions for sales team members to ensure proper CRM use as well as develop user-friendly guides and best practices for field adoption
- Partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues, manage upgrades, process quarterly updates, and implement enhancements
- Ensure Veeva reflects the most current resources, messaging, and account-level data, including data stewardship responsibilities
- Collaborate with Compliance to ensure Veeva processes adhere to all regulatory requirements
- Act as a trusted partner to support data-driven recommendations and work closely with the commercial analytics and sales leadership teams to analyze sales trends and call activity
- Gather feedback from sales leadership and field team to continuously improve all systems usability and data accuracy
- Train and mentor sales teams on interpreting analytics dashboards
Desired Experience/Education and Personal Attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology or Systems, or Healthcare related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, or CRM administration (Veeva preferred) in Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology
- Advanced Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, and Power BI for analyzing data and understanding our existing reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with sales teams and leadership
- Ability to act as a project manager to keep tasks on track
- SQL experience a plus
- Experience with pre-launch commercial products as well as existing marketed products
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing start-up environment
- Understanding of the commercial, regulatory, and legal environment in the pharmaceutical industry and demonstrated integrity and ethics on work-related compliance considerations is required
- Occasional travel will be expected for the role
Location
Syndax’s corporate office is in New York, NY.
Syndax offers a total compensation and rewards package that is among the most competitive in the industry. Base pay is just one element of our package and is determined within a range based on several factors including market data, experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, travel requirements and internal equity. Our overall package also includes an equity offering, annual target bonuses, and an outstanding benefits program. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000.
