Role Summary

Manager, Regional Sales (PCP) oversees the daily supervision of a geographical region, coaching Sales Representatives and Territory Managers to improve performance and monitor sales activity to drive product awareness and prescriptions. This role requires collaboration with Marketing, MSL, and other field counterparts to ensure aligned execution of the brand plan. Location: Salt Lake City, UT or Seattle, WA. Travel is expected, approximately 50โ€“75% of the time in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Observe each Sales Representative/Territory Managerโ€™s sales presentations in the field on a regular basis and provide feedback on these observations.
  • Complete field coaching reports after each travel day.
  • Development and maintenance of effective business plans for Territory Managers.
  • Ensure teamwork across all stakeholders for the brand (i.e., MSL, marketing, other field counterparts).
  • Coach group to make effective sales presentations by offering examples that will improve performance and hold each representative accountable for achieving performance goals.
  • Plan and conduct effective sales meetings.
  • Ensure compliance of Company policies and regional expectations.
  • Work with representatives to share success stories and best practices with the region.
  • Monitor data analytics information to ensure full utilization for maximum impact on prescribing physicians.
  • Implement and manage incentive programs as a motivating factor for Sales Representatives/Territory Managers.
  • Identify high performing representatives for recognition and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate and communicate with Marketing and Sales Administration on literature requests, supplies, relevant data maintenance, support issues, and fleet management issues.

Qualifications

  • Required: 3+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of management or training experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Required: Experience managing sales representatives.
  • Required: A demonstrated track record of success.
  • Required: Strong leadership, team building, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Required: Track record of building strong teams.
  • Preferred: Product launch experience.
  • Required: Must consistently demonstrate sound judgment and strategic decision-making abilities.
  • Required: Ability to interpret and utilize business data to drive positive business results.
  • Required: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build business relationships.
  • Required: Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
  • Required: Ability to deliver presentations and perform all job duties.

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in a related discipline.

Additional Requirements

  • Travel: Approximately 50โ€“75% travel required.
  • Driving in a geographically large territory for long periods of time each day.
  • Traveling by airplane and car, usually within the US.
  • Remaining in a standing position for prolonged periods.
  • Performing other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
