Role Summary

Manager, Procurement CCFS (Capital Construction & Facility Services) responsible for providing category leadership and operational excellence for all sourcing and supplier management across Johnson & Johnson’s global footprint. Shapes, leads, and executes global strategies to optimize MRO value delivery, supply reliability, sustainability, and innovation in support of manufacturing, research, and facility operations worldwide. Acts as a strategic partner to Plant/Facility Engineering, Supply Chain, Technical Services, and Operations, with accountability for category spend performance, supplier relationship management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Implements global category strategies for CCFS, including negotiated agreements, preferred suppliers, value engineering, and contract compliance.
  • Leads supplier selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing supplier relationship management, driving supplier innovation, risk mitigation, and performance improvements.
  • Builds strong partnerships with regional and global stakeholders, including Engineering & Property Services (E&PS), Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and EHS.
  • Identifies and drives opportunities for cost savings, value creation, and spend optimization through advanced sourcing, benchmarking, and continuous improvement.
  • Embeds sustainability, responsible sourcing, and quality compliance into all sourcing strategies.
  • Maintains market intelligence on global and regional trends, sharing insights and adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Provides regular updates to senior procurement leadership on performance, risks, opportunities, and project status.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related); MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years’ procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, with global category management exposure preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proven record of driving cost and value improvements and supplier innovation.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, fast-paced, and culturally diverse environment.
  • Knowledge of sustainability/ESG and compliance practices in procurement is a plus.
  • Fluency in English required; additional language(s) considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel globally as required (approximately 20%).
