Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement from strategic sourcing through contracting, ensuring execution aligned to the category strategic vision (including consulting/professional services).
- Ensure compliance with procurement policy and support supplier diversity and sustainability through tactical processes.
- Lead supplier management aligned to SRM strategy (per Procurement Lead and Category Managers), fostering collaborative/innovative supplier relationships.
- Implement supplier risk mitigation plans with Category Managers; provide tactical supplier performance input and communicate procurement risks to protect the organization and maintain operational resilience.
- Own source-to-contract and requisition-to-pay contract execution excellence; identify and implement process efficiency improvements.
- Enable savings and assurance of supply; manage savings leakage across downstream procurement processes.
- Administer continuous improvement projects initiated by the PSC team.
- Mentor and coach Specialists; set targets and evaluate performance.
- Partner with Procurement leaders and business partners to define skillsets, workforce requirements, capability needs, and long-term staffing goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 yearsβ experience in procurement, supply chain, or related operations/business function.
- Experience managing teams and strong knowledge of procurement operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Pharmaceutical industry knowledge preferred.
