Role Summary
The Manager, PMO Strategy and Communications will lead storytelling, presentation development, and documentation within our Strategic PMO. This role shapes how complex strategies, initiatives, and insights are communicated to senior leadership and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in project management, strategic storytelling, and executive communication, with a focus on ensuring clarity, engagement, and impact. Location: Raritan, New Jersey, United States of America.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of high-impact, visually engaging presentations and strategic narratives that effectively communicate complex ideas and project updates.
- Oversee the development and proofreading of key documents, executive summaries, and pre-read materials, ensuring alignment with organizational messaging and standards.
- Design and implement storytelling frameworks that enhance communication of PMO initiatives, strategic objectives, and performance metrics to senior executives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and external partners to gather content, validate messaging, and ensure clarity.
- Elevate the quality and influence of messaging through the use of data visualization, storytelling techniques, and compelling design.
- Develop and deliver strategic content for key meetings, reviews, and communications that support decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain consistency with Johnson & Johnson’s branding, voice, and communication standards across all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
- Preferred: Focused degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
- Preferred: A minimum of 6 years of experience in strategic communication, storytelling, or presentation development, within a corporate or project management environment.
- Required: Proven expertise in crafting narratives, structuring presentations, and designing story-driven content for executive audiences.
- Required: Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Required: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare, life sciences, or enterprise strategy.
- Preferred: Demonstrated leadership experience, including cross-functional collaboration.
- Preferred: Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
