The Manager, People Experience Communications, is responsible for developing, executing, and measuring effective communications to support people & culture initiatives and foster an impactful employee experience and employee engagement around our performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with People & Culture Communications, HR stakeholders, and Corporate Affairs partners to develop, implement, and measure strategic, creative communications campaigns.
- Write, edit, and design communications supporting the people and culture strategy to ensure clarity and consistency of HR messages for a global employee population.
- Collaborate with HR subject matter experts to develop and communicate global HR policies, programs, and initiatives to employees.
- Support alignment of Global HR communications with the internal communications editorial calendar.
- Serve as a connector and representative of the people org in internal enterprise activations.
- Project-manage select high-visibility campaigns and events.
- Support logistics for global HR Town Halls and other critical events, suggesting creative ideas to improve events.
- Use feedback from the employee myVoice survey to ensure colleague sentiments are considered and HR communications are effective.
- Create integrated HR campaign communications with measurable impact.
- Support enterprise/large-population HR emails and serve as the final quality assurance checkpoint for People & Culture communications before distribution.
- Measure communications effectiveness with internal communications partners and work with People Org comms on improvement recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience (Required/Preferred)
- 6 years of corporate communications experience (ideally in a large, matrixed company); knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-directed; proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong project management, collaboration, and people skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Design skills/graphic capability (plus).
- SharePoint site owner and content management experience (plus).
- Ability and passion for learning complex topics and simplifying them for varied global audiences.
- Bachelorโs degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
