Responsibilities:
- Implement tactical marketing campaigns and promotional programs for ophthalmology products, managing day-to-day workflows from creative briefing (including Needs Assessment Forms) through medical, legal, regulatory (MLR) approval to final deployment across field and digital channels.
- Develop, update, and manage field-facing promotional materials (speaker program presentations, training materials, messaging guides) aligned with the approved brand narrative.
- Coordinate end-to-end MLR review for assigned materials as the primary point of contact with Medical Affairs, Legal, and Compliance.
- Support planning and on-site logistics for customer engagement (regional speaker programs, educational events, congress-related activations at AAO and ASRS).
- Manage agency/vendor workflows: brief creative teams, track deliverables vs. timelines, review quality, and reconcile project-level budgets.
- Collaborate with the HCP & Customer Engagement marketing team to ensure alignment and optimization of promotional materials.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws, industry regulations, and company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Communications, or related field (MBA/advanced scientific degree preferred).
- 3–5+ years commercial marketing experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices; at least 2 years HCP marketing for a specialty/biologic brand.
- Preferred: ophthalmology/retina or related specialty injectable therapeutic area; familiarity with anti-VEGF therapies.
- Proven ability to develop promotional materials through MLR approval with knowledge of regulatory/promotional compliance.
- Strong written/verbal communication; ability to translate complex clinical information into marketing messages.
