Manager - Operational Readiness

Role: Lead operational readiness for Lilly's new API manufacturing facility in Houston, TX, supporting GMP startup and commissioning. Responsibilities: define and mature operational scope, lead cross-functional teams to develop integrated milestone schedules, track progress, integrate with construction and project timelines, serve as SME for project management, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field; minimum 3 years manufacturing experience, preferably in pharma/biotech; project management expertise. Preferred: CAPM/PMP certification, GMP experience in capital projects, strong communication skills, and adaptability. High-Value: GMP manufacturing startup, greenfield project, API production, biopharma setting, cross-functional leadership, project lifecycle management. WorkSetup: full-time in Houston, with critical decision-making expected 7 days/week.
