Manager, Operational Excellence

Role: Operational Excellence Manager within Alcon's Manufacturing division, focused on implementing and leading process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and market share at the Irvine, CA facility. Responsibilities include driving cross-functional Lean methodology projects, analyzing data for opportunities, mentoring Green Belt Six Sigma projects, and managing a small team of data analysts to develop strategic, data-driven insights. The role emphasizes applying a strong analytics approach, ensuring compliance with GxP standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years relevant experience; at least 3 years of leadership; proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies; experience in manufacturing or operational excellence, preferably in a regulated biopharma or medical device environment.
