Manager of Supplier Management

Responsibilities:
- Execute the external supplier governance structure for the Supply organization.
- Manage processes and interactions with key vendors, including logistics providers and cryopreservation providers (production management, vendor oversight, issue resolution, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet required specifications).
- Lead cross-functional internal teams and supplier partners to support end-to-end supply chain delivery.
- Participate in cross-functional SME teams to investigate issues at external partners.
- Ensure appropriate CAPAs are implemented and enforced to mitigate future risk.
- Ensure accurate, timely external supply chain information for stakeholders and management.
- Design and implement tracking tools for supply chain activities.
- Track relevant KPIs to measure and manage external supply chain performance.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met to Cabaletta Bio Quality standards, including on-time in-full services and delivery.
- Coordinate business review series to review metrics/KPIs and overall partnership health.
- Provide front-line support for process- or equipment-related issues at supply partners.
- Assist with contract negotiation and onboarding of new suppliers.
- Travel up to 10% (depending on work location).
- Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, business operations, supply chain, or related field.
- 5+ years relevant experience in life sciences manufacturing, supply chain management, or supplier management.
- Experience starting up and/or maintaining relationships with key suppliers using appropriate tools and processes.
- Biologics or cell/gene therapy experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations; commitment to operational excellence.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership; ability to influence other functions.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration; conflict resolution.
- Experience designing business processes to meet departmental/corporate needs.
- Ability to work in multifunctional, customer-centric environments; comfort with ambiguity.
- Experience building structure/processes for dynamic environments.
