Manager, Deliver Operations Planning
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global execution of Deliver Operations Planning activities within established planning frameworks and standards.
- Ensure regional planning teams operate consistently within agreed planning guardrails.
- Monitor planning performance and drive corrective actions.
- Lead Deliver supply and capacity planning across owned and 3PL distribution centers and transportation partners.
- Ensure timely visibility of capacity constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Own Deliver Operations Planning inputs, analysis, and recommendations into Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including Supply Review and Management Business Review.
- Execute Deliver planning scenarios and trade-off analyses; represent outcomes in IBP forums.
- Execute approved scenario planning (allocation, mode mix, network risks, launches) and provide operational/financial implications.
- Ensure compliance with global Deliver planning standards, controls, and governance; monitor via KPIs and maturity assessments; escalate risks/exceptions.
- Proactively identify Deliver operational risks and vulnerabilities; support mitigation/contingency planning.
- Lead, coach, and develop planning teams; partner with Regional Deliver Operations, E2E Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance.
Scope & Accountability
- Owns: Deliver Operations Planning execution; Deliver supply/capacity planning outcomes; Deliver inputs/recommendations into IBP.
- Does not own: enterprise planning process/policy design; day-to-day distribution/transportation execution; enterprise IBP governance.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 6–8+ years in supply chain/operations/deliver/network planning in global environments.
- Demonstrated leadership in Planning and IBP integration; ability to lead and influence in a matrix organization.
- Validated ownership of IBP process linked to P&L/working capital.
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes (Customer Service, Warehousing, Transportation).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication.
Preferred
- Experience in complex, multi-region distribution/logistics networks.
- Strong analytical, scenario planning, and decision-framework development skills.
- 5+ years managerial experience.
- Critical thinking, learning agility, intellectual curiosity.
- APICS/CSCP/CLTD/CPIM and/or Lean Six Sigma; degree in Supply Chain/Operations/Engineering.
- Medical device or pharmaceutical supply chain experience.
- Deep understanding of financial processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s (or equivalent) required; Master’s/advanced degree preferred.
Other
- Up to 10–15% domestic and international travel.
