Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Operations Planning Execution: Lead global execution of Deliver Operations Planning within established frameworks/standards; ensure regional teams operate consistently within agreed guardrails; monitor performance and drive corrective actions.
- Supply, Capacity Planning: Lead supply/capacity planning across owned and 3PL distribution centers and transportation partners; maintain visibility of capacity constraints, risks, and trade-offs; support regional teams with capacity and labor plans aligned to priorities.
- Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Enablement: Own Deliver planning inputs/analysis/recommendations into IBP (Supply Review/MBR); execute planning scenarios and trade-off analyses; represent outcomes in IBP forums and leadership discussions.
- Scenario Planning & Decision Frameworks: Execute scenarios for allocation, mode mix, network risks, and launches; provide operational/financial implications; support leadership decisions with fact-based analysis.
- Planning Governance, Standards & Playbooks: Ensure compliance with global standards/controls/governance; monitor effectiveness via KPIs/indicators/maturity; escalate risks/gaps/exceptions.
- Risk & Resilience Planning: Identify operational risks/vulnerabilities; support mitigation/contingency planning; enable resilient outcomes through disciplined execution/monitoring.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead/coach/develop teams; partner with Regional Deliver Operations, E2E Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance; influence stakeholders with clear insights.
Scope & Accountability: Own execution and planning outcomes/inputs into IBP; not responsible for enterprise planning process/policies, day-to-day distribution/transport operations, or enterprise IBP governance.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelorβs degree (advanced degree preferred); 6β8+ years supply/operations/deliver/network planning in a global environment; demonstrated leadership in planning and IBP integration; ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix; experience owning IBP linked to P&L/working capital; strong order fulfillment understanding (customer service, warehousing, transportation); outstanding verbal/written communication.
Preferred: Multi-region distribution/logistics experience; strong analytical/scenario/decision-framework skills; ability to translate strategy into executable standardized planning processes; 5+ years managerial experience; critical thinking, learning agility, intellectual curiosity.
Other: Up to 10β15% domestic/international travel.
Desirable: APICS/CSCP/CLTD/CPIM and/or Lean Six Sigma; supply chain experience in medical device/pharmaceutical; deep understanding of financial processes.
