Manager of Bioinformatics (Women's Health and Organ Health)

Role: Lead production support for bioinformatics and data science algorithms in Natera’s Women's Health and Organ Health products. Responsibilities: oversee a team of Data and Bioinformatics Scientists, manage complex investigations to identify root causes of inconclusive reports, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with engineering, product, laboratory, and R&D teams. Own the support function, validate process changes, and define service commitments; develop operational standards and improve algorithm reliability. Requirements: MS or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or related field; 5+ years genomic or sequencing data experience, including 2+ years in leadership; proven ability to lead cross-system investigations and establish support processes. High-value: experience with genomic sequencing, supporting diagnostic algorithms, change validation, and cross-functional communication; familiarity with bioinformatics pipelines, Python, SQL, and regulated lab environments preferred. Work setup: remote USA, salary range $140,000–$175,000.
