Key Responsibilities as Data Science Manager, Medical Analytics:
- Develops and delivers high quality machine learning solutions to uncover learnings for US Medical Affairs at the patient, HCP/EE segment, and health system level aligned with analytical priorities for:
- Segmentation
- Measurement
- Omnichannel
- Resource Allocation and Optimization
- Experimental design (test/control) analyses
- Proactively seek data science opportunities to deliver innovative solutions that uncover drivers of gaps in scientific understanding and patient unmet needs.
- Act as a data science leader by mentoring/coaching the data science community, building best practices and data science literacy, and inspiring career potential.
- Earn trust of Medical Affairs stakeholders/partners to drive data-driven decisions; establish project plans, secure inputs, and deliver milestones.
- Collaborate across matrix teams and influence across leadership levels to drive efficiencies and seamless decision making.
- Use storytelling and powerful visualizations to enable fact-based recommendations for data-driven decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS in applied quantitative sciences discipline with strong business acumen.
- 3+ years experience applying analytics and statistical skills in a business setting.
- Experience within the pharma/healthcare industry.
- 2+ years professional experience with analytics tools/languages and visualization tools.
- Experience and skills with advanced machine learning/AI tools and approaches (preferred).
