Manager, Materials Management

Role: Manager, Materials Management overseeing end-to-end materials operations at a biopharma manufacturing facility. Primary responsibilities include managing receipt, storage, issuance, inventory control, GMP pack-out, shipping, and coordination with third-party logistics. Acts as a key interface for operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing, quality, validation, and facilities teams. Ensures materials handling adheres to GMP regulations, chain of custody, and documentation standards, supporting both clinical and commercial manufacturing. Manages validation activities, SOP documentation, and cross-functional investigations, driving process optimization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 6+ years (or advanced degree with proportional experience), leadership skills, proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems, experience with quality and validation tools like Veeva and Kneat, and strong GMP knowledge. Preferred skills include experience managing high-value materials, working with 3PL providers, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
