Your Role: Manager, Marketing Operations and Process Excellence & Enablement
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, optimization, and governance of marketing operations processes, including the framework for technical (medical), legal, and regulatory review, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Drive audit-readiness and compliance monitoring efforts for marketing operations, ensuring comprehensive documentation for internal/external audits.
- Develop and deliver training and onboarding for marketing processes and platforms; coordinate/facilitate a marketing operations enablement council to drive adoption of best practices.
- Manage large-scale content transformation and technology initiatives (e.g., Digital Asset Management (DAM), text assets, QR code management).
- Own agency monitoring and compliance reporting; create and disseminate regular reports to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide oversight and guidance for marketing operations contractors (priorities and coaching).
Qualifications (minimum):
- Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing operations, process design, or compliance in a regulated environment (animal health, pharma, biotech, medical device, or healthcare).
- Demonstrated ownership of complex business processes with a track record of optimization/governance; strong project management and cross-functional leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Entrepreneurial, tech-first mindset; agility in dynamic environments.
- Experience with TLR review platforms (e.g., Veeva PromoMats) and DAM systems.
- Track record guiding audit-readiness and compliance programs.
- Experience with content transformation, taxonomy development, or DAM initiatives.
- Understanding of Elanco internal policies/business processes.
- Experience using AI to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication; ability to influence strategic direction.
