The HCP Key Accounts Manager (KAM) Marketing Manager will drive Arrowhead’s brand strategy and execution of materials for the cardiometabolic team serving patients with Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG). Over time, the role may expand to additional indications and products.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to execute marketing programs.
- Partner with KAM leadership/teams to develop and execute resources and strategic clarity for the KAM team.
- Support vendor/agency and print budget management and scope.
- Develop relationships with medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance teams.
- Lead/support omnichannel strategy for key accounts (e.g., RTE, CVA, pop-health decks, specialty pharmacy pathway pull-through decks, leave-behinds) for personal and non-personal promotions.
- Ensure promotional communications align with brand and regulatory guidelines.
- Support print material needs (printer relationships, KAM logistics).
- Develop pull-through marketing programs to support specialty pharmacy pathway activation and access milestones.
- Bridge market access milestones with marketing messaging.
- Monitor industry, in-market performance, competitive landscape, and payer/account trends; translate into optimizations.
- Understand EHR system foundation.
- Ensure materials undergo proper MLR review/approvals and maintain compliance with industry codes.
- Manage KAM marketing budget, vendor relationships, and project timelines; contribute to brand planning with a key account lens.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience.
- 3+ years managing KAM marketing initiatives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration; ability to lead strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, prioritization, and project management.
- Veeva submission experience.
- EHR system understanding.
Preferred:
- Cardiometabolic and/or rare disease marketing experience.
- Product launch experience and/or creating materials for newly developed KAM teams.
- Health IT/systems professional experience.
- Open to travel >25%.
Compensation/Benefits:
- California pay range: $120,000 USD - $145,000 USD.
