Role Summary
As a Manager within the Market Access & Patient Services (MAPS) Insights group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy and delivering insights for all US Immunology brands. You will independently lead complex analytics and market research initiatives, identify forward-looking payer opportunities, assess risk scenarios, and craft actionable recommendations that drive innovation and improve access for patients and providers. Your expertise will propel organizational learning and decision-making at the highest levels.
Responsibilities
- Drive advanced analytics focused on utilization management, medical policy, pricing strategies, and competitive launches
- Develop and implement sophisticated contracting strategies based on deep quantitative analysis of specialty pharmacies, PBMs, GPOs, and health plans
- Support execution of comprehensive market research initiatives to assess market dynamics, payer opportunities, and patient or provider access barriers
- Harness advanced analytics, data science, modeling, and visualization tools to tell compelling stories that influence business and patient outcomes
- Present key analytics and market research insights to senior leadership; influence high-impact decision-making across business units
- Foster a high-performing, innovative, and inclusive team environment
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs degree in a relevant field
- Required: 4+ years hands-on experience in quantitative analysis (sales/marketing/pharma analytics)
- Required: Proven expertise in one or more analytic tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Dataiku) and data visualization/ reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Required: Experience in agile, cross-functional, and dynamic environments - a self-starter who thrives in change and can lead independent projects
- Required: Effective communicator able to distill data into clear, actionable business narratives
- Required: Passion for innovative problem solving and strong commitment to stakeholder engagement
- Preferred: Masterโs/MBA or other advanced degree in a relevant field
- Preferred: Experience with syndicated pharma data sources and market access analytics
- Preferred: Familiarity with advanced analytics (statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive analytics)
- Preferred: In-depth experience with US market access strategy and payer landscape (e.g., value/ contracting strategy, reimbursement, policy analytics, access barriers)
