Manager, Manufacturing Science & Technology

Role: Manager, Manufacturing Science & Technology, supporting the development and commercialization of rAAV-based gene therapies. Responsibilities: oversee end-to-end technology transfer from process development to GMP manufacturing, including process validation, batch record review, process monitoring, deviation management, change control, and supply chain risk mitigation; act as a technical interface between Process Development, CMC, and manufacturing teams. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in biotech, chemical, or pharmaceutical engineering; hands-on GMP manufacturing experience, particularly with upstream suspension cell culture (HEK293) and ultracentrifugation; strong knowledge of gene therapy regulatory requirements; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently in a remote setting with occasional global travel (up to 40%). Preferred: drug product fill process expertise.
