Manager, Maintenance

Role: Build and lead the maintenance organization for a new animal health manufacturing facility, supporting 24/7 operations. Responsibilities: recruit, train, and oversee a multidisciplinary team of technicians; establish safety culture; optimize maintenance efficiency via resource planning and job scheduling; implement and manage CMMS; support facility commissioning, qualification, and GMP compliance; assist with regulatory audits. Requirements: associate’s degree or equivalent trade/military training; 5+ years maintenance leadership; 10+ years in engineering, maintenance, or operations; strong mechanical/electrical aptitude; excellent communication and team-building skills. Preferred: bachelor’s degree in engineering; experience in aseptic environments, automated filling, lyophilized products; regulated environments like FDA or USDA; startup experience.
