Role Summary

Manager, IT Financial Applications — oversee end-to-end design, implementation, and deployment of the Finance Applications portfolio. Lead the next generation of systems to automate and optimize Finance processes in a fast-paced, global environment. This is a hybrid role located in Bridgewater, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Provides system support to the Finance business users ensuring accurate and timely processing of Global Finance applications including Oracle Fusion ERP Applications and integrations.
  • Supports the Global Finance user community to improve efficiency through Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud Finance features and functions.
  • Challenges existing methods, processes and tools to optimize utilization and efficiency of Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud Finance applications.
  • Provides user training and assistance as needed.
  • Supports the integration of acquisitions, including data mapping, data conversions, system configuration, and business process revisions.
  • Contributes to integration of new requirements, solution architecture, and process improvements; evaluates and introduces additional technology to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with project work.
  • Coordinates with business users to evaluate and modify Oracle ERP Cloud systems to maintain compliance with standards while balancing global vs local needs.
  • Assists with planning and implementation of changes due to organizational growth; assists with business process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures reliable technology and process methods to deliver accurate results and consistent system performance.
  • Drives continuous improvement and improves standard operating procedures.
  • Leads onshore/offshore team for requirements, design, configuration and testing across multiple IT initiatives.
  • Supports internal and external audit, SOX, GDPR, and related compliance activities.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience with Oracle ERP (On Premise and/or Cloud) applications; 4 years of experience with Oracle ERP Core Financial Modules and Procure to Pay.
  • 7-10 years in an Information Technology role.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud applications.
  • 7-10 years defining, scoping, scaling, and managing technology initiatives from a finance applications perspective.
  • 7-10 years demonstrating technology to improve system processes.
  • 5+ years of experience with offshore delivery models.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Experience in Record-To-Report, Procure-To-Pay, Order-To-Cash, Tax, and other financial processes.
  • Ability to engage with business collaborators to elicit, analyze, and document actionable requirements aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Excellent command of the SDLC; solid understanding of data structures, controls, and end-to-end flow.
  • Experience integrating Oracle ERP with external applications; Oracle EPM experience preferred.
  • Critical thinking, strong business and systems background, and effective communication.
  • Experience in full life cycle Oracle EBusiness Suite and/or ERP Cloud implementations.
  • Experience dealing with a diverse set of customers globally.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans.
  • Experience with AIM Methodology, Business Process Engineering, and project management tools or similar ERP methodologies.
