Manager, Instrumentation & Metrology

Role: Manager of Metrology & Instrumentation at Humacyte, overseeing calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of GMP and non-GMP equipment within site operations. Responsibilities: lead personnel management including staffing, performance, and professional development; ensure equipment reliability and compliance with GMP/GLP standards; collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations; draft calibration procedures; serve as SME for instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting; support continuous improvement and vendor management. Requirements: Associate’s in engineering or life sciences; 7+ years in metrology, instrumentation, or calibration; proven leadership experience; technical expertise in equipment reliability and calibration standards; familiar with GMP/GLP, clean room protocols, electrical safety NFPA-70E preferred.
