Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering novel therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a liver disease with high unmet medical need. Madrigal’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once-daily, oral, liver-directed THR-β agonist designed to target key underlying causes of MASH. Rezdiffra is the first and only medication approved by both the FDA and European Commission for the treatment of MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis (F2 to F3). An ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial is evaluating Rezdiffra for the treatment of compensated MASH cirrhosis (F4c).
Overview
Our Commercial Planning & Operations team works cross-functionally within our Commercial organization and across Madrigal to drive and enable the growth of our Rezdiffra business. We lead critical, cross-functional efforts in support of our field-based teams, deliver objective analysis and insights, incubate new initiatives, and execute strategic initiatives.
As part of our Incentive Compensation team within the Commercial Planning & Operations team you will build consensus with various cross-functional stakeholders and apply a strategic lens to all Incentive Compensation topics.
Detailed Responsibilities Include
- Develop IC Design in collaboration with stakeholders across a variety of field-based commercial teams
- Guide internal and manage external partners on IC Administration
- Continuously monitor and evolve our quality control processes to ensure accuracy of deliverables
- Maintain and evolve our IC analytics framework to assess impact of IC Design and make design change recommendations
- Align IC processes and deliverables with other Field Operations deliverables, tools, and processes
- Design and deliver IC scorecards to field-based teams to monitor and improve commercial performance
- Lead IC related training and communication initiatives to ensure effective adoption
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in a commercial role or consulting role
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into cohesive ideas and actionable solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership and diverse audiences
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working on Specialty, Rare Disease, or Oncology brands preferred
Compensation
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
