Role Summary

Manager, Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) at Bristol Myers Squibb. The GPS ELP is a 2.5–3 year rotational leadership development program comprising four rotations of roughly eight months each, spanning GPS functions and locations to develop technical, managerial, and leadership capabilities. Start date is June/July 2026. Domestic locations: NJ, MA, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in four rotations (~8 months each) across GPS functions and locations.
  • Take on roles including technical leadership, supervisory responsibilities, strategy development, supply chain optimization, plant manufacturing experience, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Receive training in technical, managerial, and leadership skills, with coaching and mentoring from executives, alumni, and peers.

Qualifications

  • Required: MS or MBA; PhD preferred; backgrounds in STEM, Healthcare, or Supply Chain; 3.0+ GPA (Undergraduate & Graduate).
  • Required: 2–3 years full-time work experience in Process Engineering, Process Improvement, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Supply Chain, Postdoctoral Research, Chemistry or Analytical Lab.
  • Required: Ability and willingness to relocate within and outside the United States.
  • Required: Flexibility and capability for relocation to any of the BMS Domestic GPS sites, with possibility of rotation at an International GPS site.
  • Required: Leadership, communication/presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Required: Technical skills with biopharma problem solving and analytical capabilities; strong quantitative skills.
  • Required: High initiative to operate independently in a self-directed manner on team projects.
  • Required: Superior interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in a second language.
  • Required: Authorized to work in the US; immigration/visa sponsorship is not available.

Education

  • MS or MBA required; PhD preferred; 3.0+ GPA (Undergraduate & Graduate).

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to relocate domestically and internationally for rotations; travel may be required.
