Role Summary

Manager, Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) Emerging Leaders Program. A rotational leadership development program within the GPS organization, designed to develop high-potential individuals into future leaders across Product Development, Global Supply Chain, Global Quality, Global Technical Services, Manufacturing Science and Technology, Global Business Unit, and Cell Therapy Operations. Start date June/July 2026. The program encompasses four rotations over 2.5–3 years, with opportunities for technical, managerial, and leadership training, coaching, and mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in four rotations across GPS functions and locations, with roles including technical leadership, supervision, strategy development, supply chain optimization, plant manufacturing experience, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in on-the-job work across four areas within Global Product Development & Supply to gain broad cross-functional experience.
  • Develop leadership, communication, and collaboration skills through mentoring and coaching from executives, alumni, and peers.
  • Contribute to initiatives that advance productivity, robustness, and growth within GPS.
  • Relocate domestically or internationally as needed for rotations and future roles.

Qualifications

  • MS or MBA (required) or PhD (preferred) with backgrounds in STEM, Healthcare, or Supply Chain; GPA 3.0+ (Undergraduate & Graduate).
  • A minimum of two to three years of full-time work experience (excluding internships/co-ops) in Process Engineering, Process Improvement, Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Supply Chain, Postdoctoral Research, Chemistry, or Analytical Lab.
  • Ability and willingness to relocate within and outside the United States; flexibility to relocate to any BMS Domestic GPS site, with possible rotation at an international GPS site.
  • Strong leadership, communication/presentation, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Technical skills in biopharma utility problem solving and analytical capabilities with strong quantitative skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a self-directed manner on team projects; strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in a second language preferred.
  • Authorized to work in the US for the duration of employment; immigration/visa sponsorship not available for this position.
