Key Responsibilities:
- Function as a global point of contact within R&D Procurement (RDP) for Procurement program initiatives, collaborating with the Sr. Manager, Global Procurement Systems.
- Lead and support process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives (standardization, simplification, and technology innovation) related to yearly system releases.
- Support end-to-end business processes; maintain accountability for defect tracking and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with BTS on LMIC monthly maintenance releases; lead and execute UAT activities; ensure release notes are communicated to end users.
- Drive group goals and objectives to ensure the Systems Team excels in training materials and system documentation; proactively optimize team effectiveness.
- Facilitate requirements gathering with stakeholders to enable process improvement via technology.
- Identify future optimization opportunities and provide insights for operational improvements and alternate strategies/best practices.
- Collaborate with and support BTS teams to implement and deploy maintenance and full releases.
- Provide operational process expertise during migrations, business expansions (M&A/divestitures), and other change initiatives; review life sciences contracts/amendments, determine document alignment, and support database corrections during migrations.
- Bridge knowledge gaps with BTS; assess and define integration requirements for interoperability.
- Create dashboards for analytics and KPI reporting; track and report global metrics to measure initiative effectiveness and sustain new processes.
- Assist with business cases for new initiatives and prepare executive presentations aligned with AbbVie strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required with 7 yearsโ experience; advanced degree preferred. Experience in Business Information Services or Computer Sciences preferred. PMI or PMP certification a plus.
- 7+ years of Business/System Analysis and software testing experience.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, SAP S/4 HANA, SharePoint, Power BI, Artificial Intelligence, AWS, RPA, and SDLC methodologies.
- Demonstrated success leading/supporting cross-functional project teams for process governance and improvement.
- Experience with incident management, product backlog, RPA implementations, data/contract migrations, UAT testing, and change management.
- Experience/understanding of end-to-end contract management processes in Procurement (life sciences preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; political awareness.
- Strong documentation and project management skills.
- Ability to review/understand life sciences contracts and amendments and support database corrections during migrations.
- Experience supporting/managing global Procurement projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Continuous improvement experience; Lean Six Sigma (or similar) is a plus.
