Role Summary

The Manager, G&A Finance will serve as the lead finance partner for the Human Resources organization, overseeing all aspects of business management including forecasting, budgeting, and decision-support analysis. The role contributes to broader G&A Finance activities and requires strong finance expertise, with experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and the ability to support key stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual financial planning process for HR partners and provide quarterly reforecasting
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to address a variety of business and financial challenges
  • Develop and deliver quarterly analyses, forecasts, and reports to support strategic decision making; handle ad hoc projects
  • Serve as cost center controller for HR partner
  • Coordinate with Accounting, Procurement, and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate cost tracking and accounting, including leading the monthly accrual process and reporting results
  • Maintain internal financial systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity for quarterly forecasts and annual planning
  • Champion process improvements for HR partner and broader G&A Finance team

Qualifications

  • Required: BS in Finance or Accounting
  • Preferred: MBA
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, charts, functions, and formulas
  • Knowledge of Finance and Accounting fundamentals
  • Experience with planning tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion Planning) and dashboard tools (Hyperion, Qlik, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
