Role Summary

Manager, Full Stack Engineer responsible for leading end-user-facing analytics products and applications within the Data and AI Platforms portfolio. The role involves design, architecture, and technical engineering of new and existing products, with the ability to build solutions from scratch, contribute to proofs of concept, and collaborate with vendors, partners, junior engineers, and stakeholders. Applies emerging and traditional technologies across AI, data, and analytics use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Take a technical leadership role in product design, architecture, and development, including indirect mentorship of junior engineers
  • Build full-stack solutions from the ground up, including technology selection, system architecture, scalable design patterns and production readiness
  • Balance the art of the possible with an agile approach to development and value realization
  • Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the APIs to support it
  • Responsible for development of highly responsive, web-based user interface and Django/Flask API/Fast API Framework
  • Provide expertise on reliability, performance, and scalability challenges
  • Building reusable components and libraries for future use
  • Support and maintain developed code
  • Translating designs and wire frames into high quality code
  • Construct visualizations that can depict vast amounts of data
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams in an agile environment

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science or engineering/quantitative field with at least 4 years of experience including both front-end and back-end; OR Master’s with at least 2 years; OR PhD with 0+ years; OR associate’s with 8 years; OR high school diploma and 10 years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of web standards, JavaScript concepts and fundamentals
  • Demonstrated strength in JavaScript, Angular, React.js, and workflows (Flux/Redux) for application and infrastructure development
  • Good knowledge of Python with Django or FastAPI
  • Familiar with HTML, CSS and SCSS development
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
  • Exposure to relational databases such as Snowflake or Postgres
  • Experience building on AWS services like AWS Elastic Beanstalk and AWS Elastic Container Service
  • Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN)
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and information tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Yammer)
  • Grit and problem-solving ability; strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Vector databases and RAG pipelines (preferred)
