Role Summary
Manager, Field Learning and Development โ Vaccines is responsible for building, facilitating, and continuously improving training that enhances product knowledge, disease education, customer engagement capabilities, and field confidence. Works with the Director of FL&D and cross-functional partners to develop field-ready learning experiences across live, virtual, and on-demand formats.
Responsibilities
- Training Design & Deployment: Develop and maintain curriculum elements for onboarding, continuing education, and capability reinforcement; design and deliver live and virtual training; translate clinical, marketing, and strategic priorities into training tools; manage updates to training content to reflect brand messaging, clinical data, and compliance standards.
- Execution & Learning Operations: Coordinate logistics, timelines, communications, and materials; support content upload, tracking, and maintenance within digital learning platforms; track learning engagement, assessment results, and feedback to propose improvements.
- Field Engagement & Support: Serve as primary training contact for field leaders, Learning Champions, and facilitators; support National and Regional Meetings, Train-the-Trainer sessions, and POD learning experiences; gather field insights to inform updates and priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Medical, Sales Excellence, and field teams to ensure training content is accurate and aligned; contribute to coaching tools and peer learning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelorโs degree; 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech with customer-facing experience; experience in training facilitation, curriculum development, or learning deployment; strong communication/presentation skills; excellent multi-project organization.
- Preferred Qualifications: Vaccines or buy-and-bill market experience; experience with new-hire training, POA/TTT, or field capability initiatives; familiar with digital learning tools, LMS, and virtual facilitation; experience collaborating with cross-functional partners.
Education
- Bachelorโs degree required; Life Sciences, Education, Business, or related field preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Work Environment & Travel: Based in Morristown, NJ; minimum 3 days onsite per week; 25โ35% national travel to support live training events and major meetings.
