Role Summary
Manager, Field Engagement responsible for supporting Sanofi North America’s speaker programs, partnering with brand marketing and sales leadership, and ensuring compliant, efficient promotional event processes across General Medicines, Vaccines and Specialty Care. This role reports to the Director Field Engagement Operations and works with cross-functional teams to enable activities via field systems while upholding compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide support and drive the annual processes of speaker contract on-boarding and Veeva events go live for the following year
- Work closely with the Sanofi therapeutic areas across the annual life cycle of promotional events
- Budget planning
- Speaker nomination and contracting
- Speaker and Sanofi field employee training
- Reporting and analysis
- Provide support for the promotional programs system including knowledge of key integration points and dependencies including HR data, transparency, customer master, finance, etc.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leads and the logistics vendor to create innovative programming and cost efficiencies
- Develop the metrics and reporting environments with Commercial Operations colleagues for sales and marketing
- Collaborate with business operations and business integrity colleagues when necessary
- Be a subject matter expert in Promotional Events including but not limited to:
- Promotional Event management systems (e.g. Veeva/Salesforce.com, reporting platforms)
- Company policies and procedures
- Event and speaker portal electronic systems
- Speaker contracting and on-boarding
- Speaker and Sanofi field training
- Field manager support, development and sharing of best practices
- Own, build and nurture strong business partnerships with promotional event brand marketers and field sales leaders and related teams
- Drive project execution (content refreshes, field sales realignments, reporting refreshes, training calendars)
- Serve as principal point of contact for alliance colleagues and lead cross-alliance processes
- With Field Engagement Director, act as account-level contact with Veeva Digital Events leads
- Collaborate on timely and accurate reporting and responses to monitoring, transparency and Sunshine Act reporting
- Develop and facilitate brand SOWs in collaboration with vendors
- Develop and deliver Bi-annual Business Review Meetings
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Required: 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams or relevant experience
- Required: Proven ability to influence without authority
- Required: Demonstrable experience collaborating effectively in a commercial pharmaceutical or equivalent organization
- Required: Superior organizational skills
- Required: Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels
- Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
- Required: Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Veeva, QlikSense or equivalent
- Required: Strong analytical capabilities and ability to investigate complex data sets

- Preferred: Direct experience with Sales and marketing in pharma or biotech
