Manager, EH&S

Role: EHS Manager responsible for developing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety policies, programs, and compliance at a biopharma manufacturing site. Objectives include ensuring regulatory adherence, incident investigation, hazard assessment, waste management, and fostering a safety culture. Responsibilities encompass managing incident investigations, environmental reporting, hazardous waste oversight, safety training, and leading the site Safety Council. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering or Safety/Environmental, 3-5 years relevant experience; preferred Master’s in Occupational Health, Safety, or Environmental Management with 1-3 years' experience. Must have advanced knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, IATA regulations; RCRA and HazMat certifications; 40-hour HazMat training. High-value specifics: biopharma manufacturing environment, compliance with cGMP and FDA regulations, industrial hygiene activities, and safety program development. Collaboration involves site leadership and regulatory agencies. Work setup is on-site with no explicit travel requirements.
