Role Summary
Distribution Manager
Responsibilities
- Incorporate Operational Excellence initiatives and practices into all day-to-day operations.
- Monitor daily manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Outlines of Production (OOP).
- Ensure team members have the required training and expertise, and lead by example to maintain a safe work environment.
- Lead the implementation of changes and process deviation investigations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of production records.
- Manage the department budget, monitor attendance, and approve time off reporting.
Qualifications
- Required: Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Required: Experience: 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Distribution
- Required: Top 2 skills: Demonstrated strong leadership and influencing skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams; irreproachable safety and quality culture.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Preferred: Animal Health/Pharmaceutical industry experience and familiarity with USDA and other regulatory requirements.
- Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Preferred: Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
