Role: Manager of Cost Engineering/Design to Value within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine procurement team, leading a technical engineering group focused on developing cost benchmarks and analysis for precision plastics, drug-delivery systems, and packaging. Responsibilities: build and manage cost-modeling pipelines, collaborate with technical partners for material/specification inputs, perform supplier cost analysis to identify negotiation opportunities, support market engagement activities, and train procurement teams on cost principles. Qualifications: minimum 8 years in engineering, manufacturing, or procurement with leadership experience; Bachelor's in engineering or related field, advanced degrees preferred; deep expertise in manufacturing of plastics, packaging, and process validation, preferably in pharma/medical device environments. Skills include analytical thinking, stakeholder influence, team management, and proficiency in Excel and cost-modeling platforms. Preferred: Lean Six Sigma, project management, financial analysis, and excellent communication skills. High-Value: focus on precision plastics, drug-delivery, packaging, in a pharmaceutical manufacturing context, with occasional travel required. Work setup: hybrid onsite role in Titusville, NJ, and multiple international locations.
