Position Summary
Manager, Corporate Security – Executive Protection provides safe/efficient transport and protection for senior leaders, including close protection, trip planning, advance work, driver services, corporate event coverage, emergency medical support, and security coverage for executive offices/residences/meetings. Performs security advance operations (pre-, trip-, site-, hasty-advance), venue and route risk assessments, physical security evaluations, and surveillance detection. Coordinates TSCM monitoring sweeps, determines medical support needs, and may provide basic life support and tactical emergency medical care. Requires domestic/international travel ~35% and high professionalism/discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport executives to/from facilities, events, airports, and assigned locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and pre-event venue walk-throughs; execute security advance processes.
- Assess risks, plan primary/secondary/tertiary routes, and deploy appropriate protection models (close/standby/static).
- Coordinate TSCM monitoring; monitor threats to executives’ family members.
- Conduct surveillance detection; maintain strict confidentiality.
- Provide executive event security; handle protestor disruptions per policy.
- Determine medical support needs; initiate CPR/AED and tactical emergency care; maintain medical equipment.
- Support CEO/LT travel and coordinate unplanned needs; ensure emergency briefing.
- Oversee executive vehicle appearance/care; attend annual defensive driver training.
- Maintain weapon per policy with valid firearms permit and annual qualification.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to corporate security, or 7+ years success in law enforcement/corporate security.
- Valid concealed carry/RPO/LEOSA permit; valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Weekday/evening/weekend availability; travel up to 35%.
- Executive protection planning/strategy expertise; sound judgment and strong oral/written communication.
- Excellent physical condition; basic MS Office/scheduling skills; ability to sit/stand/walk and navigate obstacles.
Compensation & Benefits (as listed)
- Princeton, NJ: $94,950–$115,051; eligible for incentive cash/stock (based on eligibility).
