Main Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the product design function and oversee design delivery across global delivery hubs (U.S., Paris, Hyderabad/India, and potentially Asia).
- Create and nurture a user-centric design culture; solve complex design problems and deliver simple product solutions.
- Drive unified user experience and design in collaboration with CX colleagues, business, and technology leaders.
- Manage and mentor a team of Product Design professionals to deliver high-quality, on-time design deliverables.
- Attract, hire, and grow an excellent design team across interaction designers, visual designers, and prototypers.
- Support direct reports in achieving individual/team goals and developing strengths.
- Drive design innovation and engage the team in emerging UX trends.
- Lead all phases of UX design (research distillation, ideation, prototyping, final spec, and implementation).
- Champion human-centered design; mature lean UX practices across the team and delivery hubs.
- Integrate design into the Consumer Experience and digital development process; advocate for design across Digital and stakeholder groups.
- Make priority/quality decisions; stand for quality when products are not ready to ship.
- Lead and document design standards, specifications, and patterns; evangelize best practices.
- Collaborate on process improvements and tool implementation; maintain project planning, budgeting, and capacity plans.
- Ensure approved projects stay within approved budgets, including appropriate use of contract help.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design/HCI (Master’s a plus).
- 10+ years creating product strategy and designing products.
- Proven experience in design operations and management.
- Dynamic portfolio showing design process and shipped products.
- Experience managing UX/design professionals and delivering projects in large, complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with iterative design sprints and lean/Agile development.
- Advanced product design skills and Human-Centered Design methods aligned to user needs and business goals.
- Ability to solve complex problems for product and UX ecosystems.
- Mastery of tools such as Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite (and other design tools).
- Expert knowledge of Design Systems and human interface guidelines (iOS, Android, LMS, connected platforms).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Deep understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs.
- Ability to present concepts to all company levels.
- Familiarity with pharma/health technology (plus).
