Role Summary

Manager of Corporate Development Communications to support planning, execution, and measurement of communications initiatives related to the planned separation of the Orthopaedics business, which will operate as DePuy Synthes. Based in New Brunswick, New Jersey and reporting to the Director, Business Development Communications.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the communications strategy across enterprise-wide platforms in partnership with the MedTech and DePuy Synthes Communications and Public Affairs teams to advance business development goals and organizational priorities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to align messages and ensure communications support strategic initiatives and growth objectives.
  • Anticipate and manage risks and dependencies to deliver high-quality communications within tight timelines.
  • Lead end-to-end content management from creation and stakeholder reviews to approvals and publishing across platforms.
  • Maintain brand standards, tone, and compliance in all communications.
  • Measure and analyze communication effectiveness by tracking engagement and gathering insights, recommending continuous improvements.
  • Manage project timelines and cross-functional collaboration to enable efficient, on-time delivery of communication initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorβ€šΓ„Γ΄s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related disciplines.
  • 6-8 years of experience in corporate or brand communication roles within large or matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time-sensitive projects and balance competing demands under tight deadlines.
  • Agility, attention to detail, exceptional teamwork and collaboration and project management skills.

Preferred

  • Proven experience managing content workflow from creation to publishing across enterprise-level platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to navigate multiple priorities and senior-level approvals.
  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring communication and engagement data.
  • Collaborative work across functions/teams; experience working with third-party communication vendors.
